Just follow this step-by-step article, we will show you how to rip hot Blu-rays to widescreen TV playable formats by using this all-powerful Blu-ray to TV ripper.
Preparation:
Step 1: Load the Movie Blu-ray to Blu-ray Ripper
Launch ripper, click "Add Blu-ray " button on the top toolbar to select and load the source movie Blu-ray disc.
Step 2: Select the widescreen TV Playable Output Format
Open the output format list on the right and click "Device > TVS". Find your TV model and choose it as an output device.

Step 3. Define the Saving Folder for Movie Video
You just need to click the "..." button at the bottom to "select folder" for saving the movie video in where you choose. Generally, folder in Disk C is not recommended to place the file. What is Widescreen?
Widescreen images are a variety of aspect ratios used in film, television and computer screens. In film, a widescreen film is any film image with a width-to-height aspect ratio greater than the standard 1.37:1 Academy aspect ratio provided by 35 mm film. In recent years, widescreen TV has already dominated the television market. Widescreen TV Adopts 16:9 Formats
In general, the widescreen TV screen always adopts 16:9 aspect ratio, with the function of stretching picture vertically or horizontally. Blu-ray movies adopts 16:9 (1920*1080pix) as storage aspect ratio. So, flat-screen televisions will automatically stretch the picture into 16:9 widescreen sight, after receiving the widescreen-deforming signals coming from Blu-ray.
How to remove the black bars on widescreen TV?
Having black bars on the top and bottom when you playback a Blu-ray on widescreen TV is normal. If the original format is 4:3, dispatch its into 16:9, image will be stretched while you don't actually lose any of the image. The black bar seems more like the extra part to the original video.
So to remove the black bars on widescreen TV, doing video parameters adjustment on your Blu-ray movie is necessary to get a better visual experience when playing Blu-ray on widescreen TV.
